30 birthday candles aren't that festive. You have only just survived the quarter-life crises when a new turning point in life awaits you: the BIG 30. In this acrobatic dance performance, MAMM delves into the stigma of turning 30: about giving up your youth, existential questions, the first gray hairs and big choices.
5 twenty-somethings are on the eve of the pivotal point of their lives and take you along in the final countdown to the big 30. The performers tumble, run, slide, lift and flip over the concrete floor. They struggle, celebrate life and take the audience along in their race against the clock.

Please note, this performance takes at Skatepark
Skatepark Sweatshop is with its 1000m2 the largest indoor skatepark in The Hague region. Lots of fun for skaters who like to be challenged, from beginners to advanced. Because of the indoor hall, Skatepark Sweatshop is always open and you can always practice your tricks and flips. The Sweatshop is accessible to all skaters, from skateboarders to inline skaters.
Maxime Abbenhues en Mees Meeuwsen met each other at the Urban Contemporary Dance at the Amsterdam University of the Arts (AHK), where they both graduated in 2020. There, they found each other in their love for partnering and acrobatics. One year and a lot of bruises later, Collectief MAMM was born. In their work, they explore partnering techniques that are not based on strength, but on sharing momentum to move another body and thereby aspire to make no distinction between traditional partnering roles.
