This evening brings together two personal and poetic works in which memory, identity, and the body take centre stage.
Somethings Last a Long Time 刻印, a trio by Hiro Murata, explores the body as an endless archive of traces and memories. Small moments—a touch, a glance, a feeling—can lodge within us and endure long after they have passed.
In HOME-家, Bai Li takes the audience on an autobiographical journey through a short dance film and solo, reflecting on her experience as a Chinese adoptee. In an intimate and vulnerable search for connection, she explores the emotions surrounding adoption, identity, and the feeling of living between worlds.
