A never-ending stream of movement
'Infinity' is a difficult concept to imagine, as we humans find it hard to think about things that never really end. We promise that Cécile from Sinking Sideways will eventually come to an end, but it is a performance that tries to find some truths about the concept of infinity.
Three performers navigate a tightly woven system of shape and form and explore the abundant possibilities of one single repetitive pattern: the infinity loop. Facing one another in this challenging territory, they negotiate the highly physical mechanics of interdependence and strive for cohesion in an everlasting stream of movement. As the stakes become higher, they maneuver through different stages and modes of togetherness, adaption and urgency.
