Makers | John Psathas & Jasmine Millet |
Duration | 90 min |
Part of | Unheard Music Festival |
John Psathas and Jasmine Millet's 2016 music cinema project No Man's Land commemorating the end of World War I when it was 100 years ago is painfully topical due to the war in Ukraine. This is why the (Un)heard Music Festival presents this music film to Dutch audiences. The No Man's Land Project is a multi-media work that spans generations, continents, cultures and faiths, musically and cinematically reflecting on the devastating impact and futility of war.
But No Man's Land is above all a confidence in optimism and resilience, a statement to countries now at war. Even in bad times, compassion and empathy will survive.
Admission to this event is free, but we ask you to reserve a ticket due to capacity.
