Part of | Unheard Music Festival |
This musical marathon is the heart of the (Un)heard Music Festival. Top works by Greek-New Zealand composer in residence John Psathas will be performed. His new work "Second-Hand Time" will have its world premiere and will be played by pianist Dawn Hardwick. This work for piano, sounds and text is a deeply philosophical work that links the technological advances of our time to human perceptions of reality and communication. The young Suol Percussion will perform two of Psathas' major percussion compositions: Kyoto and Cloud Folk.
