Is it reality or a reflection?
A caleidoscope is both beautiful and confusing. What are you actually seeing? Is it real, or is it a reflection? Or even a reflection of a reflection? In Kaleiding – the debut performance by contemporary circuscollective Lily&Janick – toys with that idea. Circusmakers and acrobats Lily Schlinker and Janick Kremer use an enormous mirror on the floor, where up is down and down is up. A show that doubles itself in its reflection, where new perspectives emerge in a play combining partner acrobatics, light and reflections.
