"Not one without the other."
This festival hit shows the encounter of four individuals who walk one collective path. Choreographer Piet van Dycke (winner of the 2021 BNG Dance Prize) unites four performers, each with a different circus speciality in an unprecedented, exciting search for balance.
The four performers enter a large, impressive installation with a movable wall and floating doors. They drive each other, walk, collide, climb, carry, balance, and transform. They arrive and depart, meet and leave, appear and disappear. In their search for independence, they need each other more than ever. They keep each other in balance, but also off balance. A flirtation with risk.
