An exploration of the contrast between cyr wheels and diabolo
Fresh from Codarts, David Eisele won the 2018 BNG Circus Prize because of is virtuoso diabolo style and the way he made surprising new forms with it. Cycle is a fascinating exploration of the contrast between the power of cyr wheels and the vulnerability of the diabolo. Together they function in endless movements. David is the one who coaxes them into movement, just like he coaxes himself into the next undertaking is his life. A metaphor for life that develops in ever-renewing cycles.
