Be swept away by Finding Places and discover two powerful dance voices from a new generation of Korzo makers. During this special evening, you will encounter the work of Lea Ved and Tú Hoàng: two choreographers with roots at Nederlands Dans Theater and Conny Janssen Danst, each searching in their own way for connection, identity, and meaning.

I see you see me by Lea Ved is an intimate duet about two people sharing one space. In a quiet, minimal setting, a world unfolds in which physical and emotional relationships are constantly shifting. Without a fixed narrative, a play of closeness and distance emerges—of seeing and being seen.

The Hương (Autumn Scent) is a moving tribute to mothers and to the strength of womanhood. Inspired by Vietnamese traditions and the Mother Goddess belief Đạo Mẫu, familiar gestures flow into contemporary dance. The piece reflects on maternal love, memory, and life between two cultures, where connection and heritage remain a lasting source of strength.

Finding Places is an evening of refined movement and personal stories. Be surprised, moved, and inspired by makers who are already shaping the future of dance.

Makers

Lea Ved

Lea Ved (1991) is a dancer, choreographer, a Korzo artist-in-residence and originally from the United States. She danced for many years with the Royal Swedish Ballet and Nederlands Dans Theater and has previously created work for Korzo and CaDance Festival amongst others. Lea's work is playful and intuitive. For this performance, she is collaborating with her former colleague Spencer Dickhaus, also a dancer who has worked with NDT.

Tú Hoàng

Tú Hoàng (1988) is a choreographer and dancer from Hanoi, Vietnam, and also a Korzo artist-in-residence. In his choreographies, Tú attempts to blend his Eastern background in Kung Fu and Tai Chi with Western dance genres such as hip hop, ballet, and contemporary dance. His goalis to bring a unique artistic identity to life. In this HWLAN performance, his Vietnamese roots are given free rein to breathe with an entirely Vietnamese team.
