Embrace the awkwardness

When faced with discomfort or even danger, we tend to fight, flee or freeze. But what happens when we resist these impulses? When we dare to embrace the discomfort?

In her latest dance performance Unease, choreographer Jelena Kostić explores different forms of human discomfort: physical, mental and social. In doing so, she makes full use of the possibilities of the theatre space: the audience can experience the performance from the stands or take a seat on stage among the dancers. Unease is an intimate, immersive and thoughtful experience with influences of psychological thrillers.
