Art, music ánd performance in one
The dark corner of my circles is a performance piece combining aspects of contemporary electro-acoustic music, theatre and visual art. It explores inner monologue and interactions with the outside world. How much of our real self do we show to others? How much do we curate their perception of us? How much do we choose to see and understand about someone else, as a mere spectator in their story?
Natálie Kulina performs violin within a visual installation by Naida Amorim, interacting with the electronic spatial soundscape designed by Arieh Chrem utilising dozens of recordings of Amarante Nat's piece for solo violin, recorded over a span of several months, transforming documentation of the vulnerabilities of a learning process into musical material.
The audience is encouraged to take any form of presence in the room and interact freely with the installation and the performance space.
