During the Q5 W*acking weekend there will be an exclusive workshop given by home maker Sarada Sarita.
About Sarada Sarita
Sarada Sarita (1987) is a Dutch/Chilean dancer and choreographer. Sarada has become a pioneer in the Dutch dance scene: she was one of the first that brought voguing and waacking to the Netherlands. The past years she worked with companies like ISH and Het Nationale Ballet. In 2019, she won the prestigious BNG Bank Dansprijs with Christian Yav and Sedrig Verwoert. She has been an in-house maker at Korzo since 2021.
About Waacking
Waacking, also known as Whacking or Punking, is a dance form that emerged in the 1970s as an expression of oppression in the multicultural underground gay clubs of Los Angeles. Celebrate all!

The workshop is for anyone 16 and older with some movement experience.
You can sign up via the order button 'tickets'.
