During this Open Studio, Korzo house maker Camiel Corneille invites you for an exclusive look into the creation process of his latest work: SENESCENCE. In this public rehearsal, Camiel will present a fragment of the performance, followed by a conversation in which you, as the audience, are invited to share your impressions and feedback.
SENESCENCE explores the tension between growth and decline, and the human desire to transcend the inevitable. With his distinctive blend of circus, dance, and installation art, Camiel exposes poetically and physically, the fragile line between strength and transience.
The full performance will premiere on May 17 during the CaDance Festival. But on May 2, you’ll get a unique sneak peek—and the opportunity to become part of the creative process.
Starting in 2025, Camiel Corneille has been one of Korzo’s new house makers!
His work combines elements of circus, visual art, and performance, and explores what it means to be human—in relation to technology, intimacy, and our personal boundaries.
