Total theatre on 5 square meters: text, music, and image, often funny, sometimes intensely sad, but whatever happens, there’s still music!
‘But whatever happens, there’s still music’ is the refrain from Olga’s favourite song: ‘Wintertenen, luizen en eczeem, de typhus en de kanker en de griep’ by Ischa Meyer. It became the title of this program by Olga Zuiderhoek about music from her 20th century. She wanted none other than Gerard Bouwhuis to play the music of Bartók, Antheil, Andriessen, Breuker, Gershwin, Johnny & Jones, and of course Stravinsky. They let the dead play along: Gerard plays with Breuker, Olga sings with Ischa.
**Take note! At the urgent request of the performers, their production is not suitable for children.**
