When do you reach your boundaries?
When were your boundaries pushed? In what way did you make this clear? And how have people responded to that? These are the central issues of dialogue-performance Lijf (‘Body’).
What do we tell our children? That you are supposed to be a boy or a girl? Then what? What does it mean to be feminine or masculine? People, after all, are confronted with all kinds of expectations within society. In this duet, Danstheater Aya takes a closer look at these very contradictions and circumstances and discusses them with a young audience.
