"This season, we’re introducing something new: the mini-LABS, where composition students from the Conservatoire present their most distinctive and daring works."
— Jan Willem Troost (music programmer)
Pearls from the (court)pond of Koninklijk Conservatorium
Koninklijk Conservatorium in cooperation with Korzo, is clearing the floor for talented Composition students. Students will program this evening themselves, so we will look at musical talent through the eyes of the younger generation. Fresh work by Composition students and the instrumental departments of the conservatory. Guided by their teachers Martijn Padding, Trevor Grahl, Mayke Nas, Jan van de Putte, Calliope Tsoupaki, Yannis Kyriakides and Peter Adriaansz. KC Lab means hours of musical adventures: from lute to laptop and self-built musical instruments, from singer to DJ. Everything unusual and unexpected is quite normal during KC Lab.
