They've managed to take the finite combination of four limbs each and weave it into thousands of beautiful, complicated connections. – LA Dance Chronicle
JA Collective is a collaboration between Los Angeles natives Jordan Johnson and Aidan Carberry. Their background in hip-hop, contemporary dance, and theatre gives their work a unique edge. Expect a fresh, energetic, and innovative perspective. By performing across multiple dance and multidisciplinary domains, they aim to challenge the art form and push it to new heights. JA Collective has collaborated with artists such as Frank Ocean, Paul McCartney, Justin Bieber, and William Forsythe. Their new work explores loss, grief, and healing, examining pivotal moments of change and their unique impact on each performer.
Rebecca Laufer & Mats van Rossum share an endless fascination with movement in dialogue with imagination. They believe that dance has a transformative power that transcends exclusive art circles. It is not meant for a select group of art lovers but for a broad audience. Their aim is to touch people from all walks of life, regardless of background or familiarity with artistic expression. By embracing inclusivity, they turn movement into a force that fosters understanding, empathy, and connection. Their new choreography and an immersive soundscape encourages the audience to reflect poetically on the present moment.
