Dance workshop by internationally acclaimed choreographer
Calling all dancers and dance students! Spend two mornings with Marina Mascarell, internationally acclaimed choreographer, artistic director of Danish Dance Theatre, and former Korzo resident artist. As part of the publication of her book Het Denken Belichamen (‘Embodying Thought’), this workshop offers a close-up of Marina’s rebellious approach to dance in a workshop led by the artist herself.
The dancing body as an act of resistance
Over the course of two days, you’ll dive into the methodology of this socially engaged and feminist maker. At its core is a call for greater equality in the co-creation process and an understanding of the dancing body as a form of resistance. The workshop is open to both amateur and professional dancers, as well as dance students with solid experience, across all styles of dance.
