Radical closeness can sometimes feel far away
This piece, infused with dance, physical theatre, and performance art, is charged with yearning and intensity. It is up close and personal. In this sensory play of attraction and repulsion, Claire and Tijmen search for something that lies deep within us all: the desire for radical intimacy. hat rare moment when you truly let someone in, with no filters and no escape routes. That rare moment when you truly let someone in, with no filters and no escape routes and that takes courage. Because how can you allow yourself to be vulnerable if you’re not sure you’ll come through unscathed?
In Even the Edges, the audience becomes part of an intimate shared space with the performers, where influence flows both ways and closeness is tangible, comforting, and confronting all at the same time.
