Our social life is full of unwritten rules. Standing in line when you wait, treating yourself when it's your birthday, saying 'bless you' when someone sneezes... It all seems rather self-explanatory.
DUMMIES introduces you to two individuals who don't know these rules, but somehow find themselves in situations where these rules can be useful. The duo can only rely on their instincts. And that makes for funny, and sometimes painful situations. Both individuals have an equal chance of understanding each other. Or maybe they’ll end up clashing due to some kind of misunderstanding?
DUMMIES is a relevant, recognizable and playful take on the absurdity of our self-taught habits. The movement language of the dummies is impressive due to fast, acrobatic daredevil hijinks and cooperation. They give us a different and novel view of that what we consider 'normal'. A fun humorous dance performance in which the dummies show the innate clumsiness of our do-it-yourself society.
