Three talented choreographers and three works, selected by icon Conny Janssen
Danslokaal is a yearly project to stimulate talent that was founded by Conny Janssen Danst. Each year, she invites talented makers to create new work with the dancers of the Rotterdam company.
Artistic director Conny Janssen, a leading choreographer in the Dutch field, curates every edition with help from Dansateliers and Korzo. For Danslokaal 11, Rutkay Özpinar (Korzo), the duo Marta & Kim (Dansateliers) and Patricia van Deutekom (Conny Janssen Danst) are selected. These young makers get the chance to work on their own signature under the wings of this professional company. The end result is quite always a surprising night with three brand new works, made with and for the dancers of Conny Janssen Danst.
