About technology which blinds everyone
Due to the extension of the Covid measures we have to remain closed. Unforunately, that means that this performance is cancelled. Ticketholders can return their tickets through My Account or contact our box office.
The technological evolution is going full steam ahead. It’s moving so fast that it’s hard to keep up. Regulation and security measurements are always behind. It’s barely noticeable, but our privacy disappears and our personal data is being sold. We are being surrounded by robots and computers who visibly and secretly study us. They can help us, save our lives, but they can manipulate us in an alarming way.
Blinde Vlek (Blind Spot) is a musical, acrobatic attempt at encouraging people to critically assess the consequences of modern technology. Because, the technological evolution is going full steam ahead. So fast that it’s hard to keep up. Regulation and security measurements are always behind. It’s barely noticeable, but our privacy disappears and our personal data is being sold. We are being surrounded by robots and computers who visibly and secretly study us. They can help us, save our lives, but they can manipulate us in an alarming way.
