A new quartet consisting of internationally renowned musicians from the contemporary music scene in New York.
The Anzû Quartet, established in 2020, is an ensemble devoted to today’s music and the contemporary canon. This new quartet, a collaboration of internationally renowned interpreters of contemporary music, honours Olivier Messiaen’s Quator pour le fin du temps by actively performing new works for this iconic ensemble.
In the Anzû Quartet’s first season, they played in New York, Berlin, and Croatia, together with a digital premiere in UCLA’s Center for the Art of Performance.
