Benjamin Kuitenbrouwer (1988, Amsterdam) - directing - graduated from Codarts Circus Arts in Rotterdam. He is a versatile circus and performing artist and originally graduated from the double Chinese mast. He made several solo performances and founded the France-based collective Sous le Manteau with several other artists. Between 2021 and 2024, he is house maker at the TENT house for contemporary circus and with his own company Monki, he is working on a trilogy around optimism. This includes the performances 60% Banana. A cheerful message for angry citizens (2022), Nothing News. About my coming-out as an optimist (2023) and Also monkeys fall out of trees (2024).

Hanneke Meijers - co-director - is one of the three TENT directors and has been involved in the development of the organisation from the beginning. At the Amsterdam youth circus Circus Elleboog, she once discovered that making something together is much more satisfying than standing solo on the balance beam. So she swapped the training hall for the theatre and never left. Not even after her bachelor's degree in graphic design. Developing her own visual language was the driving force in her graphic work, and that now extends to the stage: in scenography, as a critical art director and or creator of pure concepts. She has been involved in several TENT projects as a coach, project leader or co-director.

Karin and Hedvig Brodén are originally from Sweden. They met when they shared a womb for 9 months and here they are now, still going strong together. They discovered circus at the age of 7 at the local youth circus. But it was at the wonderful AFUK (Academy for Untaimed Creativity) in Copenhagen, where they really met the great circus community and realised that circus was something they wanted to keep doing for as long as possible. Now they study and work in the Netherlands as a partner acrobat duo.
