Youngsters for urban arts exchange program with Germany

A cultural exchange program between countries, (urban) arts and people

Fractal Collective together with Dance In FFM (Germany) and Korzo (The Netherlands) collaborate in a youth exchange program based on the question: which boundaries keep us away from a stereotype-free life?  

During 9 months, a group of 10 people from Germany and 10 from The Netherlands will follow classes in dance, theatre and spoken word, exchange their findings both live and digitally, share knowledge, and present a unique performance in The Hague. 

The kick-off for the Dutch group is scheduled for Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 April in Korzo Theater, The Hague. The group will participate in workshops and meet the German group.

Wat are we looking for? 

For the group to kick-off in the Netherlands we are looking for 10 – 12 participants who meet these criteria: 

• Dance, theater or spoken word is your passion 
• You are between 15 and 25 years 
• You are willing to invest your time and focus into culture, arts & sport 

• You are willing to commit yourself to one Sunday every month, participate in an exchange with and to Germany, and a final performance. 

What‘s in it for you? 

A year full of exciting programs: multidisciplinary lessons, exchanges and cultural activities 

• A monthly Sunday workshop with different coaches in dance, theater and spoken word 

• A summer camp in The Hague, and an autumn camp in Frankfurt, Germany 
• meeting a like-minded German group to exchange and collaborate 
• creating a theater show that will premiere in Winter 2022 
• getting the chance to watch free dance & theater performances

• Summer Camp in The Hague: 13-18 August 2022 (summer holiday)

Free participation 

There are no costs to participate in the project. In return we ask your full dedication and participation in the project. In the case of missing several classes without notifying us, we will be forced to continue without you.
