A playful performance full of living objects about (almost) extinct animal species

Mister Ut is an old man who lives in curious gift shop with useless objects. The shop is filled to the ceiling with unusual things. Ut collects everything! Unfortunately he is in danger of going out of business because he refuses to sell anything. He keeps making excuses to keep what he has in his store. Mister Ut is afraid that everything will disappear forever, himself included. Based on performer Tim Velraed’s enormous knowledge of extinct species, Vergeten dieren en verloren zaken (forgotten animals and lost things) takes children playfully to the last Tasmanian tiger, the rhinoceros, the Venus flytrap and, of course, the Dodo.

Ryan Djojokarso | Jong Korzo

Ryan Djojokarso makes playful, funny, and moving performances where he mixes dance with sports and games. This time we’re playing hide and seek. With Josje who likes cars and Anton who likes to dress as Cinderella, with tough girl Kim and cry-baby Seth, and with Rick who’d rather play with Frank because he’s secretly in love with him.
